Kennedy loves Cake!

The Lord has sent us some new Christian friends. Last weekend we were up at the neighborhood playground and I met Mary, who has just moved here from Minnesota. She has a two year old named Kate and a two month old, Lydia. She joined us for story time on Wednesday and then we took the girls to McDonalds to play. We had another playdate today at Jumpzone. The funny part is that Kennedy cannot say Kate, it comes out "Cake", and Kate can't say Kennedy, it comes out "Candy". What a pair, Cake and Candy. Ken has been in Phoenix since Wednesday, so when he got home tonight, he got an earful from Kennedy about her friend "Cake". We are suppose to meet again on Monday to let the girls play, it is nice to have a friend so close. We have made several friends since moving, but it is nice to have someone in our subdivision.

On a separate note, I get to practice having two kiddos next week. I told a friend I would help out watching her little boy, Ethan, next week. Kennedy adores Ethan, in fact since we have no name we refer to the baby as Baby Brother. Kennedy started calling Ethan, Baby Brother Ethan. Needless to say, she is very confused. It will be interesting to see how well I can manage two.
