Kennedy Grace
Seeing as Kennedy is getting ready to move from only child to sharing the spot light I wanted to do a post that was strictly Kennedy (it's not like most of my post are strictly Kennedy ;)). I wanted to list all the things I LOVE about my two and a half year old.

1. I love that she sings all the time. She sings songs that she has learned (half the time she uses the correct words.) She sings songs that she makes up (these are my favorite).

2. I love how she mispronounces words. Finished is "pinished" and love is "luba".

3. I love how she uses words that I call her, on me. She told me the other day, "I pinished, Honey."

4. I love her confidence. She is not intimidated to talk to other people, in fact she is the one that usually initiates the conversation. She also does not let people push her around. The other day some older boys splashed her in the pool, and she raised her finger to these boys and told them "Hey, you no splash Kennedy." She is also brave enough to go shooting down the tube slide at the pool.

5. I love to watch her play. She loves the "Little People" toys and I love the conversations they have, it's usually a scenerio that has taken place between her and me.

6. I love the outfits she comes up with. Unfortunetly, I don't let her leave the house in her creations, but they are quite unique.

7. I love how much she loves her Daddy. She gets so excited when he gets home from work and is so happy that he spends so much time with her on the weekends.

8. I love that she LOVES to go to church. She absolutely loves her teacher, and will list all her friends in her class. But my favorite is what she says when we leave for church, "We're going to see the Lord." Ken always tells her, "Let's go praise the Lord." However, she has changed it up a bit.

9. I love that she is becoming aware of her friends and likes to play pretend with them. She and her friend Kate will pretend to be mermaids and whales in the pool. If you didn't know, whales apparently say, "Whale, whale, whale ...." while they swim around.

10. Lastly, I love her manners. Now, don't get me wrong I have a typical, want my way, throws fits, loves independance 2 year old. But, she has also picked up manners really well, says please, thank you, excuse me, and yes maam. I hope these will always stick around.
