We Heart Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day has always been one of my favorite holidays. Maybe it's because my birthday is so close to Valentines, or because my Daddy was my first Valentine and still sends me a present with a special card, or maybe it's because it is a holiday filled with chocolate. At any rate, we heart Valentine's Day at our house.

Kennedy & Paxton started celebrating on Thursday, and continued celebrating through Sunday. On Thursday a package from Nana, Papaw and Aunt Lea arrived and they had a blast opening it. Then on Friday, Gege and Popy's package arrived; more fun. And on Saturday morning, the kids opened even more gifts from Mommy and Daddy. Our good friends Kate & Lydia has their 3rd and 1st birthdays on Saturday. Mary did a great job and the kids had a lot of fun! We actually had our date night last weekend, so Saturday after the kids went to bed we watched "Fireproof"; I thought it was great. Not so much the acting, but loved the message. All in all it has been a great few days, and we are now preparing for our trek to Nana & Papaws.
