Flashback Friday

Lubbock in my rear view mirror. Two years ago today marks our move from Lubbock, Texas. I could have posted pictures of that morning, as we stood in our sad empty house. But I've decided to commemorate this anniversary with what I think of when I think Lubbock - cattle. This is a picture of my dad with a fistulated steer at the Texas Tech farm. This is where Ken would go to collect rumin fluid (notice the canula) for his work in graduate school. Yes, I have other fond memories of Lubbock, but I would have to say feedlots is a big one!
