Wild Wilderness Safari

Ever since we moved to this area, I've wanted to go to the Wild Wilderness Safari. It is only 20 miles from our house and I've heard only wonderful things about it. Unfortunately, we had never found a weekend to go, so I was so excited when our playgroup decided to make a day of it. I was not sure what to expect, but it far exceeded all my expectations. We could not have asked for better weather, it was sunny and 65 degrees. We got to see soooooo many animals ostriches, camels, buffalo, zebras, llamas, lions, tigers, hippos, rhinos, giraffes, and so many more. After we drove through the safari, we got to visit the petting zoo and feed the smaller animals. Paxton slept through most of the drive through, but Kennedy was allowed to sit upfront with Mommy and she enjoyed herself A LOT!
This was our welcome wagon as we pulled into the safari, Kennedy was squealing at how close the animals would get to the cars.
Camel crossingI had to throw these little guys in, they reminded me of Prairie Dog Town in Lubbock.
Llama, or Linda the Llama as Kennedy called her (reference Go Diego Go)I love Paxton's face before going into the petting zoo.Kennedy telling the goat where she threw his food.

Feeding a bunny leftover carrots from lunch.

This one is for Papaw, he was a little bigger than Scout.

How awesome that the Safari is so close to you guys! All of the animals are awesome. Kennedy and Paxton looked too cute feeding them. I love the one where Kennedy is pointing to the food. So Fun!

It makes me sad that Kennedy is getting so big. How did that happen?
