The Princess and the Toad

I feel like it’s been so long since I’ve done a post about what we have been doing. We stay pretty busy during the week with our playgroup, and with all the rain we have been getting it has been great for the kids to get out and play with their friends. Our most recent trip was a tour of Petco. It was great! Kennedy loved getting to see and pet all the different animals. Oddly enough, her favorite animals of all were the kittens and the cats. Between Papaw, her cousin Jaden, and her daddy, Kennedy has had a lot of exposure to ‘unusual’ pets, but she has not been around too many cats.
Kennedy and her daddy have started having date night on Wednesday nights. While Paxton and I attend church, Kennedy and Ken go for a walk, get ice cream, and visit the park. Tonight when we got home, Kennedy was helping her daddy in the back yard and she was playing with a toad. I guess her hands-on Petco visit inspired her. I think she is going to be my little tomboy.
