Summertime
It's starting to feel like summer around the Wilson house. Summer for us is long warm evenings, days at the pool, eating popsicles outside, cooking out, and VISITORS. I love when our family comes to visit. Gege and Poppy kicked off our summer guest this past weekend. We had a great time strolling the farmer's market, visiting shops on the square, and just being together. Ken had some fish given to him from some coworkers, so Saturday night we had a fish fry. We had sea bass, paddle fish, and catfish. I had not tasted the first two, but they were really good, very mild. I threw some corn on the grill, and this was Kennedy's first go at corn on the cob. She's had corn, just not on the cob. She thought it was pretty cool stuff.
We also ventured out to the pool this week. The weather was warm enough, but the water was freezing. We will have to give it a couple more weeks for the water to get warm enough.
My happy girl!
