Open House & First Day
Monday night was Open House at Kennedy's preschool, we got to meet her sweet teachers and all of her classmates as well. We started out in Kennedy's classroom and after the teachers little introduction all of the parents headed to the auditorium for a meeting while the kids stayed in their rooms. Kennedy did great, when we returned after our meeting she was working at the computer with another little girl, and of course Kennedy had to tell me all about her new "best friend". She got a present from her teacher it was a little pony figurine, because her class is called the "Polite Ponies". It was a great start, and just made her even more excited for school to start. We rushed home from church Wednesday night in order to get in bed for the big day. Kennedy was so excited she could hardly go to sleep. I got in bed by 8:30 and when I went in to check on her at 9:00 she was sitting up smiling at me. I had told Kennedy on the way to church earlier that I was going to miss her while she was at school, but she told me "Don't miss me, I'll be fine." Anyways, Thursday morning Kennedy was up at 6 am on her own. I'm sure she will take a good nap at school today. She went right in to class and was ready to start her day. I can't wait to pick her up!
