Impromptu Zoo

I have been wanting to take the kids to the Tulsa Zoo, but we always had something planned for the weekend. So last week, we decided we would venture out on our own without Ken. The kids were great, and Kennedy was such a big help. She really is a little mother to Paxton at times, and sometimes when he doesn't want her to be. The weather was perfect and the crowd was very small. In fact we were alone in many of the buildings. I was also very excited for the kids to see the elephants, because this summer the OKC Zoo elephants had been moved to Tulsa while their habitat was being renovated. The kids were terrified! I LOVED it, it was a really neat exhibit and was designed in such a way that you could be very close, but in a safe way. It was a little too intimidating for the kids. All in all, it was a great trip. I am so incredibly thankful that I get to enjoy times like these with my babies.
