A Fun Little Visit
This past weekend we had a visit from Ken's parents. Gege and Popee came in on Sunday afternoon, and we headed up to Eureka Springs on Monday morning for a little excitement. We had planned to do a little shopping, ride the train, and enjoy some lunch. We had a nice drive up, went through a few shops, and then headed down to the train. Unfortunately, for us, the train does not run on Monday. I was expecting Kennedy to be really disappointed, she was really looking forward to riding the train, but she handled it really well. It helped that Popee bought her a stuffed toy kitty cat, which she hasn't put down since. So, we had a great lunch, (try Bubba's BBQ if you're in Eureka), did some more shopping, and stopped by the Thorncrown Chapel. Later that evening, after dinner, Kennedy talked Popee into giving her a ride in his newest toy. It was a great time!
