Soccer Camp
Last week Kennedy participated in Soccer Camp and she had a ball! She worked so hard in the hot sun and loved every minute of it. Even though it was morning, it was sooooo HOT! Paxton and I chilled in the shade, but Kennedy was such a trooper in the sun. They had a tent set up for the kids with their water bottles and they would take several water breaks. Kennedy would run get a swig and run back ready to go. I had to force her to take longer drinks, but she was so excited she didn't want to miss a thing. Fortunately, Ken's work schedule has been a little crazy this summer, so it allowed him to come to camp two days and watch her. Each day they started out with drills and then would finish up the day with a scrimmage. I was really impressed with the drills they were teaching to a group of four year olds. Kennedy will be starting league soccer in about a month and she cannot wait. I'm glad she had such a good time and experience. It was so much fun watching her.

Second day of camp, she thinks she is a pro now. LOL
Working on her kicking.
Scrimmage time
Finally scored a goal on Thursday. This is what she looked like at the end of everyday - hot, red, sweaty, and SMILING! Getting her certificate on the last day of camp.
