Winter Blast 2011
We have been trapped inside for going on 2 days now, and not sure when we will be able to get out. Yesterday morning around 8:30 it started snowing and dropped 8-9 inches of snow, which is a lot for our area. Fortunately, everything shuts down for this type of weather, so we did not have to be anywhere. Unfortunately, Ken made it to work before the snow started and he has been stuck at work since yesterday. Ken works about 30 miles north of us and they received a lot more snow than we did. He said the drifts around his car were waist high. Even though the temperature isn't suppose to get out of the teens the next couple of day, hopefully the sun will melt some of this stuff off. Here are a few pics of the snow around the house.
