VBX 2012
Last week our church held VBX - Vacation Bible Xtreme. And it was amazing!!! The theme was the Cross Kidz 500, it was a racing theme (along the lines of Nascar) and it was all about letting Christ be your sponsor and relying on Him, taking pit stops everyday to spend time in His word and prayer, and not letting distractions interfere with your race (life). It was so good! The first night Kennedy walked in the door and told her Daddy "It was AWESOME". I was a leader for a group of 4th graders and I really enjoyed getting to work with this age group. Since I helped out, Paxton got to attend the preschool VBX and it was all about how we were made to praise - he really liked it a lot. The last night was family night and Paxton's group preformed a song they had worked on during VBX, it was really cute. Kennedy and Ken got selected for a game - basically Kennedy's face was covered in shaving cream and Ken had to throw cheese balls on her face. After the service, they had baptisms at the crosses, and then it was time to play. There were bouncy houses, a massive slip n slide, and snow cones.
Paxton and his sweet friends performing their song and scripture.
Ken and Kennedy ready for the game - Ken took Kennedy's headband off so it wouldn't get dirty, so he just put it on his head :)

She couldn't even see.
Playing in the bouncy houses.
