We spend Christmas in Corpus with my side of the family this year. As is tradition, we always attend Christmas Eve service and then have cousin Christmas exchange at one of my sister's houses. We celebrated this year at Sarah's and she always makes such wonderful food.
Paxton and Kennedy opened all but one gift back home, but we saved one for them to open Christmas morning. Christmas Day was at Mom's and Dad's. This year we let all the kids open gifts first and then sent them off to play and we were able to open gifts from Mom and Dad with just the adults (much calmer).
One night Dad built a fire on the patio and we roasted marshmallows and made smores.
One afternoon we decided to take some family pics, and man was that an undertaking. Some of them came our really good though.
Another tradition, started last year is the Polar Plunge. There were only a few brave souls Jaden and Garrison made the plunge and swam the length of the pool. Kennedy did the plunge by force (her daddy pushed her in) and Paxton chose to do the plunge a couple of days early (per his choice).
