Snow Day 

We had our first Snow Day(s) of the season and it isn't even Christmas yet!  On Thursday school was canceled due to a big winter storm moving our way.  It actually didn't make it in until later that afternoon, but it was better to be safe at home than run the chance of getting stuck at school.  It started with sleet and then transitioned to snow.  The snow didn't really accumulate until about 4:30 pm so we went out and played, but the sun was already starting to set.  It continued to snow all night long, so the kids were begging to go out as soon as they woke Friday morning.  We spent 30 minutes outside and then they were ready to come in, they would have played longer, but it was FREEZING!!!  It has been a nice break from our busy schedule - we've played lots of games, read many books, and baked a lot fun yummies.
