Happy Labor Day
I wanted to make this cake with Kennedy for the 4th, but we were out of town so we missed our opportunity. So, I decided we would make it for Labor Day. Kennedy loves to help out in the kitchen and especially loves to bake. We have not done a whole lot of baking since Paxton came along, so we squeezed it in while he was napping. She also loves to help me clean. Not so much her toys, but windows and floors; I'm afraid this desire to help will not be around when she is a teenager.

It was really hard to let her do it on her own, I wanted to straighten the strawberries.
