Pickin' and a Grinin'

We were lucky enough to stumble across a small grape vineyard up the road from our house the other day. So, we decided it was time to do some grape pickin'. We really had a great time, and the owners were so kind. The day before we went there was a huge rain storm, so the owners said that was it for their harvest and they were finished for the season. However, they let us go ahead and pick what we wanted and didn't charge us at all. They were definitely, not the grapes you buy in the grocery store, they tasted more like 'wine grapes'. And Paxton really LOVED them; I'll have to keep and eye on him ;). At any rate it was a lot of fun and an absolutely beautiful day, with sunshine, 70 degree weather, and a cool breeze. We may have to do some grape stompin' tonight.

How cool is that! I have always wanted to visit a grape vineyard. Looks like Kennedy and Paxton enjoyed the fun!
