TWO !?!?!?!
Two years ago today, we were blessed with a most precious gift. We are humbled and awed by the blessing of Paxton Kole. He is such a sweet, mild natured little guy. He keeps us laughing with his little ways. Paxton is such a thinker, and he is always trying to figure out how things work. I love to watch him play and study the world around him. He loves his sister and wants to do everything she does. We are so incredibly thankful!

On Saturday, we celebrated Paxton's birthday with family. Our families were so sweet to travel up for Paxton's big day. I actually tried two things I've never done before. The first was to cook a brisket, and the second was to do birthday cupcakes. The brisket turned out pretty good and it was fairly easy, with the exception of getting up at 4 am. I also have never made a birthday cake for either kid, the task just seemed to daunting. The cupcakes turned out pretty cute, however, I may go back to being a bakery girl. It's just a lot of work! We had a great time visiting, playing, and celebrating Paxton. Thank you Gege, Popee, Aunt Bo, Quincy, Nana, and Papaw for making the day so special!

Oh my goodness! Those cupcakes look awesome! I agree with you though on the bakery idea. It always seems like a lot of work to me too!
