FINALLY!!!
It took a while, but Kennedy finally braved the dentist. We have tried to get to this point several times. Kennedy was terrified of the dentist and absolutely refused to sit in the chair for a visit. Our dentist is great, and he checked Kennedy's teeth while Ken held her on her first visit. On the second visit he let her move me up and down in the dental chair, but we told her this visit she was doing the whole thing. She was getting them cleaned and checked and all. She did WONDERFUL!!! I was filling out some paper work for Paxton, since this would be his first visit when they called her back. She went back all by herself, and climbed right up in the chair and was sooooo brave. We are so proud of our big girl, we are not so proud of the two cavities she has, however. I guess the poor girl has the misfortune of her mother's teeth. She will go back in a week for two fillings. The doctor said they are small enough that he will not have to give her any Novocaine, so I pray this is an easy visit and doesn't undo the new found excitement of going to the dentist. As for Paxton, his first visit went much like Kennedy's first visit - here we go again :)
