And so it begins...
Kennedy has begun her week long birthday celebration. Ken's side of the family is not able to make it in for Kennedy's party next weekend, so they made a special trip in this past Saturday to celebrate with Kennedy. She was sooooo excited! Gege and Popee were so sweet to get up extra early on Saturday and drive in from Oklahoma, for Kennedy's soccer game. She did great, and she loved having a few extra fans in the stand. After the game, we headed over to the Farmer's Market and met up with Aunt Bo and Quincy. Popee bought the kids pumpkins and we tooled around the square enjoying the beautiful fall weather. We headed back to the house to open presents and then Gege took us all to lunch. Kennedy got Build-a-bear gift cards from both Gege and Aunt Bo. So, after lunch we headed over to the Promenade to do a little shopping. Kennedy LOVES Build-a-bear and she had so much fun picking out the clothes and accessories. I had to bite my tongue through most of the trip, let's just say fashion will not be Kennedy's calling in life. After a little more shopping, we headed back home to have cake and ice cream. Kennedy wanted a cookie cake for this celebration, and I'm thinking her Daddy enjoyed it more than she did. It was a great day and Kennedy had an amazing time with Gege, Popee, Aunt Bo, and Quincy. Thank you for making her day so special!
