Firetrucks, Bikes, and Ice Cream Sandwiches

The past week has been a super busy one, and I have lots to blog about. Before I get into all the fun of visits and Kennedy's party. I wanted to share a few small things.

First, Kennedy had a little party at school. She originally wanted to take a cookie cake to school, but after having one with Ken's family the previous weekend, she decided she didn't really like cookie cake that much. So, she found these birthday themed ice cream sandwiches that she wanted to take instead. She was very excited to share a special treat with her classmates.
Also, the same day, the Firetruck visited the preschool for Fire Safety Week. Each class got to climb through the truck and visit with the Firemen. Paxton loves all big trucks, but he got scared once he got inside the truck. He let me take his picture, but he wanted me to take it fast, so he wouldn't have to stand next to the truck anymore.

Lastly, Kennedy got a bike for her birthday, and she has had a lot of fun learning to ride it. Unfortunately, our house sits on a little hill, so she doesn't have a lot of flat area to ride. So, we headed up to some walking trails at the entrance of our subdivision and she got to get some practice in. Kennedy is such a funny girl, she is scared of heights, but will let you swing her super high on a swing, she loves to climb and jump off of things, but being on a bike is an uneasy feeling for her.
