January 2014
January brought lots of fun. We celebrated Homecoming at school with Spirit Week. Kennedy loved dressing up for each day. I even joined in on the fun.
Nerd Day
Superhero Day - meet Art Girl and Radical Woman (I'm sure you already know Batman)
Retro Day - Little Miss 50's girl and 80's or 90's woman (sporting my authentic wind suit)
Sports Team Day - gotta support the Sooners
The last day was Neon Day - which included a Glow in the Dark Pep Rally (pretty cool)
Of course, January meant MORE snow.
This girl has become accustomed to Saturday dates with mom - she knows I'm a sucker for a good cupcake.
Kennedy participated in ChIPs again this year. It is a week long cheer clinic put on by the high school cheer squad. At the end of the week, the girls perform at the halftime of the boys basketball game. Kennedy always loved doing ChIPs and I always love that she get to be mentored by such sweet girls.
Paxton's class did chapel during the month of January. He did a great job sharing his verse.
