February 2014
February was filled with lots and lots of basketball!  We really enjoyed watching the cutest kindergartner you ever did see play basketball.  Paxton really found a sport he LOVED!  We spent every Saturday morning watching this little guy on the court.  In addition to basketball, I turned the big 4-0.  Ken did an amazing job planning my birthday this year.  I was absolutely blown away.  He surprised me by taking me out to Ruth Chris Steak House for dinner - he had even planned a sitter for the kids.  After we ordered, he handed me a letter wrapped in a scroll.  I took the holder of the scroll and after laying on the table realized it was a little too heavy to be a silver wrapper. He had got a new band to add to my wedding set and it was beautiful.  When I opened the scroll it had a great little poem that took me a minute to get my head around.  Ken was flying me to Dallas to meet up with my Mom and my sisters for a girl's weekend.  It was the best, we went shopping, ate out, and even caught the musical version of The Little Mermaid.  It was such a wonderful birthday celebration.
