March 2014
March was a crazy month for our family.  We are so thankful for God's constant hand of protection on our family.  Two days before Ken's birthday, he was hit by a car while out running.  Ken suffered some big injuries and had to have surgery, but he is healing and we are so thankful God protected him as He did.  Kennedy's class lead chapel one day and she got to be Matilda - Warrior Wally's sidekick.  They were superheros that went around helping kids make the right choice.  Due to Ken's accident, we stayed close to home for Spring Break.  The kids and I took little adventures close to home.  One such adventure was roller skating.  It had been a long time since I had been on skates and I will say I was much more daring as a teenager on skates than as a 40 year old on skates.  The kids loved it, and it was a fun break from all the crazy around our house.  One really exciting thing happened in March - Kennedy's art work was selected to be on display at the Art of the Ozarks Art Show.  We got to go visit the gallery and see hers and other students art from around the area.  She was very proud of her giraffe, and we are so proud of Kennedy!
