YUM, Cookies
Last week Kennedy had her friend Kate over for a play date and they baked and decorated cookies. Thanks to Aunt Lea, Kennedy has the entire alphabet in cookie cutters, so it was educational as well. Educational, prior to going in the oven, however, the cookies did not resemble letters much at all after they baked (they were a little too thick).
Kennedy has been working on potty training for some time now. She will do really good, and then all of a sudden she will start having lots of accidents. After Paxton came along, she had a big time regression. Ken made a deal with Kennedy that if she could go 7 days straight with no accidents that he would take her to the OKC Zoo and ride the train. Well, Kennedy has done great, she has gone 15 days with no accidents. So, this Thursday evening we will head to Oklahoma to ride the Zoo train. It should be nice and HOT! I think Paxton will prefer the indoor exhibits, as well as his Mommy. It should be an interesting train ride, the last train Kennedy rode was at Silver Dollar City, and we had to yell, per the conductors instructions, "Fire in the Hole" about 10 times. Kennedy yells, "Fire in the Hole" every time we talk about riding the train, so it should be a fun ride. I hope we don't get in trouble for yelling FIRE in a public place. I will post pics of our trip to the Zoo and visit with Ken's family when we return.

Enjoying the yummy cookies, notice the blob shapes on the cooling rack.
